THE WESTERN CARWASH ASSOCIATION PARTNERS WITH THE ICA "WATERSAVERS" PROGRAM

Your Western Carwash Association today announced an exciting NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL WCA MEMBERS. Effectively immediately, members of The Western Carwash Association will be eligible, and encouraged to participate in the program as part of the WaterSavers Alliance at the same $49 annual membership fee charged to current ICA members. Nearly 900 ICA member locations across the United States and Canada are already enrolled in WaterSavers.

The Alliance reflects WCA's recognition of the importance of advancing the carwash industry's commitment to water conservation and quality The Western Carwash Association is proud to join with ICA to promote our members responsible use of water conservation, both in terms of water savings and protecting and preserving our National water resources.

Car washes must implement water managment best practices to be eligible to participate in "WaterSavers". Requirements include a maximum use of 40 gallons per car, water recycling, maintaining maximum efficiency of water saving devices and spray nozzles, and protection of our streams, rivers, lakes, and oceans by controlled discharge of waste water to municipal water treatment facilities, or as required by local ordinance.

WCA President Bill Carbonel said: "We encourage all WCA members to join the WaterSavers program, and purchase and display prominently the excellent WaterSaver signage. The formation of this new alliance marks the beginning of industry wide efforts to promote the benefits of professional carwashing to consumers and thereby further protecting and preserving our nation's rivers, lakes, and oceans.
