CAR WASH MANAGER OF THE YEAR: This award will be presented to one or more individuals, as may be decided by the Awards Committee. The Car Wash Manager of the Year Award can be determined by length of time on job, their ability to implement good business ideas, practices or for their handling of your personnel or for their loyalty and dedication to sound professional business standards in concept with the goals and mission of your organization. The recipient is required to be presently employed by a current car wash owner member of the WCA. One, several, or no awards may be presented annually in this category.

COMMUNITY SERVICE: This award shall be presented in recognition of outstanding service to the operator’s community over a period of years. The recipient shall be a current WCA member in good standing. The recipient’s contributions may have been in the area of raising money for a local national charity or community involvement that promotes commercial car washing. His or her efforts should have contributed on a continuous ongoing basis to the operation and profitability of the industry. The award shall be presented at the discretion of the award committee and Board of Directors. Said award need not be awarded every year.

MOST INNOVATIVE OPERATOR: This award shall be presented to an individual in our industry who has tried new ideas at their own expense and time. A person who has opened doors for all of us to have benefited through a learning experience by using their techniques or methods of operations, which have increased our sales and or our service delivery, making our jobs easier and more profitable. The recipient is required to be a WCA member. One, several, or no awards may be presented annually in this category.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: This award shall be presented to an individual selected by the Awards Committee for outstanding efforts as an operator/owner who is new to the car wash industry and has shown to be dedicated to perform in an extraordinary way with a keen sense of marketing and promoting their new business venture while still dedicated to preserving the professional image fostered by the association and furthering the goals of the car wash industry. The recipient is required to be a WCA member. One, several, or no awards may be presented annually in this category.

SPECIAL SERVICE: This award shall be presented in recognition of outstanding personal service to the car wash industry over a period of years. The recipient need not currently be nor need ever have been a member of the WCA. The recipient’s contributions may have been in the area of maintenance and repairs, equipment distribution or product supplier to the car wash industry. His or her efforts should have contributed on a continuous ongoing basis to the operation and profitability of the industry. The award shall be presented at the discretion of the award committee and Board of Directors. Said award need not be awarded every year.
